    Talk It Out Counseling Services focuses on Help for your life, which includes self-care, effective communication skills, positive and healthy relationships, and success. Debra Anthony earned a Masters in School and Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in Missouri. Pursued a career as a Certified School Counselor & License Professional Counselor. I work for Saint Louis City Public Schools for 24+ years. I have educated & serviced thousands of children, parents and families (some underprivileged). Licensed Professional Counselor (2013). Also, I help individuals that are ready to change their lives, tired of being sick and tired, desire to have a healthier lifestyle. I advocate for children’s safety and promotes, protection, love, safety that they truly deserve. My mission is to advocate for parents and caregivers that self-care is important, and it is a must that they take care of themselves, spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally. I created a free parenting support group for parents that maybe struggling in these areas. Parenting A Helping Hand is designed to help parents get their life back. Because, Ok Parents, Have Ok Children. Self-care program I designed is an extension of the parenting group. Self-care is for everyone, and individuals must take care of themselves in all four areas mentioned above. The self-care program is also designed to help individuals that are struggling with incorporating self-care into their daily lives. I work with individuals, couples, families ages 5+ for counseling. I am an Author that created several books. God led me to create a memoir about some tragic events that happened in my life. Talk It Out, Don’t Block It Out. Also, I created journals, therapeutic cookbook, digital products and other therapeutic products. I am a Youth Mental Health First Aid Responder for crisis. FEATURED: In Helpful Living Magazine, issues 7, 11, & 15. Featured on Kelly Fair’s Live on Instagram regarding my career group. My students used her Career guide for the program, Every Girl Is A CEO & Stephanie Hickman of Trice Construction. Honored by Representative Aldridge-Contribution to the community as a School Counselor. Red Apple Award for contribution for providing outstanding services to our students, staff, community,

    and families by Dr. Leslie Bonner (Principal)-nominated by teacher Ms. Hardnett., Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award (10-04-2024-Institute of Champions-Dr. Sharron Brown-nominated by Dr, Tahira Lee) Grade A-Advertising & Promotion Strategy Class-Marketing (03-11-2025). Certified in Play Therapy, & Family Therapy (Sept-2024).
